A theatrical performance of the T.S. Eliot classic by actor and educator John Morello. Audiences of all ages are invited to a multi-sensory experience featuring LIVE artwork and projections from artist Kira Beaudoin and original score by Rob Crehan.

From the mind of actor and educator John Morello, comes a mesmerizing classic performance. Accompanied live on stage by ambient music from musician Rob Crehan ( More Machine Than Man and Science & The Beat ) and stunning projected images painted in real time by artist Kira Beaudoin, this is truly a multi-sensory celebration of the most important poem of the 20th century. Using a light touch in his respectful interpretation, Morello has created a work that respects his audience and brings to life the timeless words of T.S. Eliot. At once thrilling and meditative, this 45 minute performance will welcome newcomers to modernist poetry and surely resonate with our modern times and struggles.

The show


This show was created for two experiences which are nearly identical in tone, differing only for reasons of logistics or budget. There is a full in-residence production in more traditional theater settings; all three performers acting, painting, and playing on stage in real time. Additionally, to be more accessible for smaller venues, there is a streamlined touring version featuring the actor accompanied by pre-recorded music and visuals. Currently in rehearsal, performances begin in April of 2024.
